I think you're doing a great job (I e.g. love the way you present the possibility to read the docs, watch a demo and download right next to each other and not have to crawl through a bunch of sub–pages first) and the design is great as well. I'm just saying that for me personally the earlier version with less visual "noise" worked better. I guess different visitors prefer different layouts when it comes to readability. Everything seems quite crammed and tight due to the very dark colors. The new design contains a few nice details and looks very carefully done, though.
