TJPzoom

TJPzoom is an image magnifier written in javascript. If you move your mouse over the picture, you can see a little zoom window with a magnified version of a part of the picture in it.

I would probably use an image magnifier like this when doing fashion sites, so the visitor can easily zoom in on items to get a closer look on details and fabrics. It can also be useful on a graphic portfolio sites.

Main features

  • If you click and drag your mouse in different directions, the zoom ratio and window size will increase/decrease.
  • The zoom window has transparent drop shadow that also works in IE6
  • Works on IE7 (and on every major browser)
  • You can change the relative position of your zoom box

The script is compatible with all major browsers, such as MSIE, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Konqueror. TJPzoom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License.
