typo in visual?

noob here so please correct me if I'm wrong, but is this a typo?

a:active,.a:focus
{
    color:#000;
}

I'm referring to the leading dot before the second a selector

And thanks so much for Tripoli, it's great to find a reset/base that helps teach more than just tech aspects but also gives a beautiful result out of the box!

OT: can the layouts easily be adapted to have a fluid/elastic center content with min/max widths?
